I am so excited to share with y’all the beauty products that I have re-purchased over and over again.

I am a very loyal product user when it comes to make-up. The following are the products that I have used for YEARS (with the exception of foundations, which I will explain why later. However, I will still share my current favorites!). I will separate the items by skincare, primers, make-up, hair, and tools. I also added a mini review of each product in case you are interested, otherwise, just enjoy the pictures!

Skincare

I am a HUGE fan of Korean skincare. When it comes to skincare, I feel that Korean brands take it to the next level. After all, they are the ones that created the 10-step beauty regimen! My regimen is way simpler than that, but all the four items pictured above are Kbeauty products! Korean brands are super innovative, use clean ingredients, the scents are delicate, they have beautiful packaging, and they are priced very fairly.

You will notice that I do not mention a cleanser, and that is because I believe that any drugstore cleanser will do the job (think Clearasil, Cetaphil, Simple, CeraVe, etc.) I prefer to spend my money on items that will remain longer on my face.

I use the next 2 toners interchangeably:

Beauty Water (SON & PARK) $30: I love applying this multitasking toner/skin-smoothing cleansing water with a cotton ball or cotton pad on my clean face. It leaves my skin feeling clean and ready for the next step!

Essential Power Skin Toner (LANEIGE) $28: I love using this toner in the Winter because it leaves my skin very hydrated. I have combination skin so I use Beauty Water in the warmer months. My skin tends to be on the oily side and with this toner, my skin feels beautiful even when using the “Normal to Dry Skin” version. It has never made my skin oily nor does it feel overpowering. However, if you prefer, they do have a toner for “Combination to Oily Skin.”

Water Bank Essence (LANEIGE) $36: I apply this right after my toner and it leaves my skin feeling super silky! It has 6 essential minerals–zinc, magnesium, manganese, potassium, calcium, and sodium. In other words, it will leave your skin toned and smooth!

Water Bank Hydrating Gel (LANEIGE) $35: This is my favorite moisturizer! It is cooling, non-oily, and it absorbs super fast into the skin.

L’Or Radiance Primer (Guerlain) $74: I am not sure if the “pure gold flakes” really work, but this primer will kick any foundation up a notch by making it longer-lasting and non-cakey! It also claims to be wrinkle smoothing, and my favorite beauty guru, Tati, did an amazing review of this product on her channel, which is why I bought it on the first place back in 2015 (Tati has the BEST “WTF” reviews of pricey high-end skincare and make-up products! Click here to watch the one about the L’Or Radiance Primer!).

I have used 2 full bottles since I first watched the video in 2015. Back to the wrinkle smoothing properties, it is not as apparent on my skin since one of the advantages of having oily skin is that I get slightly less wrinkles! (Woohoo! But also, any type of oil bloating paper is welcomed in my life).

Advanced Night Repair 1oz (ESTEE LAUDER) $68: I use this serum every night and I wake up with the softest skin. I only use 2 small drops because a little goes a long way. I am so frugal when using this product because it is pricey, that is why I was so excited when I tried the next Kopari product because it is a wonderful dupe!

Coconut Sheer Oil (KOPARI) $44: I first heard about the Kopari line during the Nordstrom anniversary sale because so many bloggers were raving about the Kopari’s sample box. To my surprise, I received that same sample box in my Summer Pinterest FabFitFun box a couple of weeks later! This little oil stood out for me because it made my face feel just as nice as the Advanced Night Repair did. Sephora does not have the coconut oil version right now, but they do have the save oil version and it works just as beautifully.

Primers

For those days that I do not feel like wearing make up, I just apply any of these two little goodies and I am good to go!

The POREfessional (benefit) $32: This primer does a good job of smoothing my pores, but it does not blur them completely. I do like how my foundation applies after putting on this primer.

Step 1 Skin Equalizer (MAKE UP FOREVER) $37: This is my to-go primer when I want a bit more moisture on my face, specially when I reach for a high coverage foundation (since they tend to be a bit dryer).

Foundations

As of right now, these two foundations are my favorites! The reason I do not have one that I repurchase over and over again is because foundation formulas are constantly changing, and so is our skin! Different brands have done an amazing job of making better and better foundations and adding more shades to their lines.

The one foundation that I have re-purchased the most times was CHANEL’s Vitalumiere Aqua $50 (not carried by Sephora). I used it for 5 years and must have purchased close to 10+ bottles. However, their formula stayed the same while my skin changed and other brands began to try new innovative formulas that worked better for my skin. It is still a great foundation, but I am always in the lookout for the next best foundation!

Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation (laura mercier) $48: It was love at first sight with this foundation. It is lightweight and applies so beautifully on my skin! The only downfall of this foundations is that is not good for humid weather, at least for my skin. I wore it to an outdoor event for a couple of hours and it became patchy, but that did not deter me from using it. I just make sure I don’t use it on days when I will be in the humid outdoors for an extended period of time.

Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup (ESTEE LAUDER) $42: This is the foundation that I have re-purchased again and again in the last couple of years (3 times to be exact!). It is described as being full-coverage, but it is actually a very natural looking medium to full-coverage foundation. I adore it! The only con is that you must apply immediately after it touches your skin because it dries up very quickly. So dab dab dab with that sponge!

Eyebrow Pencils

Diorshow Brow Styler Ultra-Fine Precision Brow Pencil (Dior) $29: If I had to pick ONE makeup item, THIS WOULD BE IT. I have been using this since College, which is when I first learned that I could fill in my eyebrows and make them look more presentable (also, eyebrows are sisters, not twins, right?).

I did use the super high-end brow pencil from La Prairie (La Prairie Luxe Brow Liner $50, not carried by Sephora), but they only make it in 2 shades and the one closer to my hair color was too warm. I must have used it for 2 years before my brow stylist confronted me and told me I was using the WRONG SHADE! What I LOVE about the La Prairie pencil is that it comes with a replacement pencil, so you technically get 2 pencils for $50 (still not cheap though).

I have also tried countless drugstore brow pencils and brow powders. But, this Dior one is hands down THE BEST ONE. The pigment is spot on! As in, it is not too rich, but it is the pigment you would want if you don’t think you can draw perfect brows on the first try. They look so natural and I must always have an extra brow pencil in the drawer.

Goof Proof Brow Pencil (benefit) $24: This pencil is a close second because it has an excellent array of shades. This pencil would be great for someone who loves dark statement brows because the pigment is very rich. The slant of the pencil is wonderful, however, the richer pigment is not for me, but it is still an amazing product.

Powders

Hoola Matte Bronzer (benefit) $30: I enjoy using this bronzer SO MUCH because it is matte and it contours as subtly or as intensely as you want. When I was first taught about contouring and the wonders of chiselling your face, I used the NARS Laguna bronzer, which is equally beautiful but it has more shimmer. Both looks are beautiful, it just depends on what you prefer.

Orgasm Blush (NARS) $39: This peach/pink shimmering blush is universally flattering and it IS the best selling blush of all times. I have been using it since I first started to wear blush back in College and I still love everything about it! It gives you a slight flush and it is totally buildable if you prefer a richer blush.

Super Matte Loose Powder (MAKE UP FOR EVER) $31: Since I have oily skin, I have found this powder to be heaven sent. I love how it immediately matifies my face after I press on just a little bit of this powder. If you are used to bloating your face throughout the day, you will notice that the oil will be very minimal on the days you wear this loose powder.

Lippies

These 4 lippies are part of my permanent collection! All of them have amazing formulas, pigmentation and hydration. I have olive skin with neutral undertones and all of these shades complement my skin very well.

Here are some swatches:

Hair

I never thought I would spend so much on shampoo and conditioner, but IT SMELLS SO GOOD. It reminds me of the DKNY green apple perfume that was super popular during Upper School! I do feel a difference on my hair in terms of softness. It is my favorite shampoo and conditioner and it is superior than drugstore shampoo, it but it is not life-changing (I have yet to find shampoo or conditioner that is though! so if you know one please share!).

I use the Briogeo duo in rotation with my other less fancy shampoos because I want them to last forever!

Make-Up Tools

When I first tried the beautyblender, I was not a fan because I was not using it right. But once I actually made it damp, I feel in love with how it applies foundation on my skin. I cannot use anything else to apply foundation!

I do recommend getting a cleanser if you have a beautyblender. I wash my beautyblender every other week to keep it fresh and clean! Not sure how often you are supposed to wash it, but every other week works for me.

Hair Tools

I have had this flat iron for YEARS. It is my second once from GHD. The first one I used for 5 years but left it at home in Mexico so I decided to get a new one and I have had this for at least 3 years now. I still use my old one when I go home!

This flat iron makes my dull hair shiny and soft regardless of the products I use! I discovered it when a stylist used it to straighten my frizzy and wavy hair. I was impressed by how quickly it was straighten and by how soft my hair was afterwards. Needless to say, I ordered it the same day.

TIP: For this item, always look at Amazon or other websites to see if you can find a better deal! (For example, Amazon has it for $198 as of right now!)

Tiny Must-Haves!

These are always in my purse! I am very picky with rose smelling products because it is very common to find overpowering ones. However, SEPHORA nailed the rose scent!

Rose Hand Balm (SEPHORA) $5: This lotion is between a gel and a cream. It absorbs super quickly and does not leave your skin oily. Because of its delicate true rose smell, it smells like you are rubbing rose petals on your skin!

Rose Lip Balm (SEPHORA) $6: I only get this lip balm because of the smell. The hydration is just OK (maybe because I lick it off!) and I feel there are a lot of other drugstore options that leave your lips so much softer and for a longer time (#VaselineForever).

I would love to hear about your Sephora favorites and thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for spending some time with me. Happy shopping!

Love,
Kiki
